Emergency Room Under the Cold Light, A Cry for Help Goes Unanswered
On her wedding day, the wedding car overturns, leaving a gaping wound in her lower back and soaking her embroidered red wedding dress in blood. Her own mother, the hospital department director, publicly avoids showing favoritism and makes her wait in line. Her husband pries her hand away and goes to accompany the bridesmaid. She nearly dies in the emergency room. Nobody knows that beneath her red wedding dress, she is covered in blood. Later, she survives, and the evidence is laid out on the table, page by page. Divorce, lawsuits, and accountability follow. But has the person who said, "She can wait," truly regretted it?
