Northeast Big Black Bear Terminator
In the 1980s, in Heisongling, Northeast China, hunter Qin Zheng went deep into the mountains alone to hunt a giant black bear to save face for his newlywed wedding banquet. Five days later, he dragged the bear back to the village, only to find his wife Su Qinghe being forced by her maiden family to remarry. Qin Zheng protected his wife publicly and exposed two bride-price scams. Afterwards, he smoked the bear meat and sold it in the city, exchanging the harvest from the mountains for money to repair the house and build a family business, eventually making up for a decent wedding banquet and truly settling down with Su Qinghe in the snowy Heisongling.
