I'm Not Buying Durians Anymore, Why Are You Crying?
Zhou Kai returns to his hometown after doing business in fruit trading elsewhere, hoping to buy durians from the village. However, the villagers misunderstand his pricing policy of purchasing all the fruit and covering harvesting and transportation costs. Their leader, Zhao Fuquan, publicly slaps him. Meanwhile, a fellow trader, Wang Defa, pretends to offer higher prices but traps farmers with one-sided grading standards and oppressive contracts. Refusing to give in to the villagers' hostility, Zhou Kai joins forces with logistics operator Lin Xiaoyue to expand sales channels and establish the local 'Niuhei Golden Pillow' durian brand. After realizing Wang Defa's tricks, the villagers finally come to their senses, and Zhao Fuquan personally visits Zhou Kai to apologize. Zhou Kai leads the establishment of a cooperative, builds cold-chain facilities, and opens up sales channels across the province and cities. By helping neighboring villages prosper together, he creates a distinctive path to rural development.
