Zhang Dapeng, 35, seems like an elite CBD professional on the outside, but in reality, he has long been unemployed. To maintain his image as a successful man, he is forced to team up with his equally 'flexibly unemployed' brother-in-law to start an absurd venture in the secondary bedroom. From selling proxy compliments on Xianyu to hawking time mystery boxes, the family desperately tests the limits of deceit for traffic and virality, staging one hilarious workplace farce after another. When immense wealth truly arrives, faced with a fake life hijacked by online traffic, they ultimately choose to tear off their masks and return to the simple, warm reality of ordinary life. This is an urban absurdist comedy about midlife crises, corporate buzzwords, and family warmth.
