Su Yuetong, a ditsy fairy from the immortal sect, accidentally ate a hallucinogenic spiritual mushroom. Mistaking Ling Shubai, the aloof immortal lord who descended to the mortal realm, for her cousin, she acted overly dependent and willfully mischievous towards him. Ling Shubai acted reluctant on the outside, but his actions were honest as he silently guarded her along the way and indulged her little quirks. When Su Yuetong sobered up, she was so socially dead she just wanted to run away, but was pulled into the immortal lord's embrace. "Where are you running?" The millennium immortal lord had long fallen in love, and since then began a sweet protection spanning the immortal-mortal realms, running towards each other, filled to the brim with sweetness.
