In 1990, I Rescued A Wolf In The Snowfield (81 episodes)

In 1990 at Baicang Mountain, Lu Beishan, a mountain keeper renowned in the village as a bachelor with no descendants, saved the White Wolf King (Bai Ling, the Mountain God's emissary) in the snowy plains, forging a Mountain God pact and gaining the mountain guardian's power. He foresaw the avalanche that would wipe out the village, but no one believed him; seven days later, the whole village knelt and cried out to the Mountain God. In a famine year, he cut through the ice to catch fish, journeyed to the provincial capital to sell them for cash, bought a tractor to become the chief team leader, and led the entire village out of poverty. When an overseas armed poaching ring placed a five-million-dollar bounty to capture the divine wolf alive, he broke into the enemy's camp alone and risked his life to save the wolf, ultimately fusing with the white wolf to reincarnate into a divine avatar and protect the forests.
