Waiting for You to Shed All Identities
Fifty-three-year-old Xu Jinglan manages over a dozen hotels, yet she has never been able to find a companion who treats her with genuine sincerity. Concealing her wealth, she went on a blind date disguised as an ordinary cleaner, only to be treated like a free housekeeper by a retired man. Only Lu Jianchuan, whose hands were covered in engine oil, stood up for her. He helped her sand her drawing board and clear out a room, earnestly entrusting her with his retirement savings and the rest of his life. Little did she know, her son Lu Mingyuan looked down on her for having no money, first trying to dismiss her with five thousand yuan and then blocking her outside at his promotion banquet. It was not until the group's chief executive rushed over, uttering a single word: Chairman, that everyone at the table instantly changed their tune.
