In the City, Ten Thousand Schemes; Hard to Outsell a Little Stall at the Village Entrance
Lin Zhiyuan, a young man returning to his hometown, brings his experience with community group-buying in the city back to Qinghe Village. He hopes to sell sweet potatoes, free-range chicken eggs, and handmade rice cakes using elegant packaging and a pre-order model. However, his stall at the village entrance attracts no customers. People complain that his prices are too high, question his approach, and offer him reminders. With the help of Aunt Zhou Guilan, Chen Xiaohe, and others, he abandons the methods he had simply copied from the city and heads into the fields and village kitchens. Through tastings, transparent cost breakdowns, and sincere service, he wins back people's trust, eventually secures his first order, and helps get the village's agricultural-produce shop off the ground.
