Her unique artistic style draws the jealousy and slander of court painter Gu Yanqiu. Fortunately, she gains the appreciation and mutual understanding of Prefect Wen Jingci, who comprehends the steadfastness within her ink and brush. At the Jiangnan Scenery Painting Exhibition, Shen Qingyan brings forth the painting "Wuzhou Year-Round Fireworks" to debate publicly, breaking prejudice through art and proving that ordinary market life is also elegance personified. Faced with a summons from the palace, she rejects courtly glory, willingly guarding the humble alley with her brush to record the people's peace year after year, accompanying Wen Jingci in mutual understanding to guard the freedom of brush and ink and preserve the original heart of humanity.
