Wang Ye, a grassroots mechanic, furiously resigns after his cousin Wang Lei withholds his rightful share of profits. With meager savings, he takes over an old rundown shop and founds Ingenuity Auto Repair. On a rainy night, he helps repair an heiress named Lin Jiao's broken luxury car, sparking their bond. Wang Lei repeatedly attempts sabotage and extortion, but Wang Ye uses his superior craft to defuse every scheme, even winning a massive fleet contract from Zhou Qian. When tycoon Qin Tai resorts to foul play and violence to suppress Wang Ye and win over Lin Jiao, Wang Ye leverages live-stream repair tutorials to build trust, apprentices under industry legend Zheng Yuanshan to hone his skills, and gathers evidence to put Qin behind bars.
