Shen Nian is a renowned top-tier postpartum nanny, hired by the frail postpartum Lin Zhao. Lin Zhao has long suffered psychological control from her mother-in-law, Zhao Guiying. After taking the job, Shen Nian uses her expertise and paper trails to stop Zhao Guiying from feeding the newborn rice water and liquor, meddling with childcare, and rallying relatives to bully Lin Zhao. Later, to protect mother and child, Shen Nian installs surveillance cameras and establishes feeding logs to collect evidence step by step. In the end, she publicly exposes Zhao Guiying's misdeeds. Lin Zhao begins a new life, while Shen Nian, through saving her, finds personal redemption for the loss of her older sister to postpartum depression.
