Exchanged by Mistake for Twenty-Three Years
After accidentally bringing Jiang Xiaohe, a homeless girl, back to the Jiang family, real estate chairman Jiang Jianguo uncovers a long-buried mystery about her identity dating back twenty-three years, prompted by a plum blossom birthmark and fragmented childhood memories. Jiang Xiaohe bears a striking resemblance to Jiang Jianguo's late wife when she was young. She also remembers being carried away by the Jiang family's servant, Liu Guifen, and abandoned outside. As old hospital payment receipts, a hidden iron box, and childbirth records from that year come to light, Jiang Jianguo increasingly suspects that this long-suffering girl may actually be his biological daughter. Meanwhile, Jiang Yuqing, who has lived a life of privilege, fears losing her identity and status and joins forces with Liu Guifen, who harbors secrets of her own, to obstruct the investigation.
