As the Japanese invaders reveal their ambitions, Japanese martial arts master Miura Ichiro brutally slaughters Chinese fighters in the Southern Region's arena. Ye Wen steps forward and slays him using Wing Chun. Wanted by the Japanese military, Ye Wen flees to the Northern Region with his wife Zhang Yongcheng. Taking the alias 'Ye Qi', he lies low at Longhu Gate, where his father-in-law passes down the sect leadership to win over the doubters. When the Black Dragon Society provokes them, Ye Wen endures humiliation and concedes, only to face public disdain. Yet when the secret manual is stolen and disciples are captured, Ye Wen steps out in the moment of crisis, reigniting the nation's spirit of resistance.
