Agricultural PhD Lin Zhou returns to his hometown to build an eco-farm. However, the flood drainage ditch he painstakingly built is forcibly filled in by his greedy eldest uncle, Lin Dafu, and the villagers. Lin Zhou signs a ruthless waiver agreement and builds a steel waterproof dam overnight. When a once-in-a-century rainstorm arrives as predicted, the ruined villagers turn on him to demand his life, while corrupt capital quietly makes its move. As cutting-edge science clashes with greedy human nature, the ultimate showdown in this low-lying land has only just begun.
