Lin Wanqing, chairwoman of Lin's Jewelry, visits the jade shop of her prospective daughter-in-law Su Wan in incognito, exposing the shop's overpriced, defective, and heavily treated jade, only to be mocked and harassed by the shop staff. When Su Wan finds out her scam has been exposed, she flies into a rage and violently attacks Lin Wanqing, attempting to severely injure her. Shen Yu rushes in, reveals his mother's true identity, and tears up the engagement on the spot. Su Wan's shop is shut down, and she is sentenced for fraud and intentional injury, while the staff receive leniency for cooperating with the investigation. Lin Wanqing is honored as an honorary anti-counterfeiting consultant in the industry, proving that character is like pure jade, and integrity is paramount.
