I Dismantled the Goji Berry Drying Houses in the Entire Village
Gao Yuan invested 600,000 yuan to build a goji berry drying facility on his own land, making it available to the entire village. After two years, at the cooperative's profit-sharing meeting, he was told by the cooperative chairman, his own paternal uncle Gao Mingde, that his share of the profits was zero. The 600,000 yuan had supposedly been fully offset as an "equipment rental fee." The villagers all sided with the chairman, insulting Gao Yuan as nothing more than a salaried technician. Gao Yuan sneered and walked away. The next day, four cranes entered the village. When the police arrived, Gao Yuan produced the property ownership certificate, proving that both the land and the equipment belonged to him. The cranes demolished the drying plant's sign, and the equipment was hauled away.
