Lin Wan, an ordinary working mother, finally reaches her breaking point on Mid-Autumn Festival. It all starts when Xiaobao, the son of her husband's younger brother, snatches a crab from her daughter Xiaoman's bowl. Her in-laws openly favor Xiaobao, but Lin Wan's husband, Hao Xiang, her father-in-law, Hao Fumin, and her younger brother-in-law, Hao Jian, do nothing to stop him. Instead, they join forces to accuse her of making a fuss over nothing and disrespecting her elders. What seems like a trivial squabble exposes the long-standing injustice Lin Wan has endured throughout her marriage: her husband's cowardice and incompetence, her in-laws' blatant favoritism, and her younger brother-in-law's family's domineering behavior.

Lin Wan est une mère qui travaille, tout ce qu'il y a de plus ordinaire, et qui finit par exploser le jour de la fête de la Mi-Automne. Tout commence lorsque Xiaobao, le fils du frère cadet de son mari, arrache un crabe du bol de Xiaoman, la fille de Lin Wan. Ses beaux-parents favorisent ouvertement Xiaobao, mais son mari, Hao Xiang, son beau-père, Hao Fumin, et son beau-frère, Hao Jian, ne font rien pour intervenir. Au contraire, ils s'unissent pour l'accuser d'en faire toute une histoire et de manquer de respect aux aînés.
