I Am a Big Shot in the Village
Zhao Daqiang gets into a dispute and flees back to Zhaojia Village, where his younger brother boasts that he is a master detective. A series of thefts occur in the village. Lao Hei, the main suspect of an escaped jewelry store robbery, frames the villager Zhao Ergou and creates the illusion of a haunted back mountain to cover up the buried stolen goods. Zhao Daqiang sets up a patrol team to investigate the truth, and his identity is exposed in public by Lao Hei. Lao Hei's confidant Shou Hou embezzles the stolen goods, causing infighting among the bandits. Lao Hei kidnaps Zhao Ming to threaten Zhao Daqiang. Zhao Daqiang uses psychological tactics to corner the wounded Lao Hei, and cooperates with the police to capture him. The case is settled, Zhao Daqiang becomes an auxiliary police officer, Zhao Ergou takes over the village security team, he and his childhood sweetheart Zhao Ting win each other's affection, and a mysterious person visits at the end, leaving a suspense.

Zhao Daqiang se retrouve mêlé à un litige et s'enfuit pour regagner le village de Zhaojia, où son jeune frère se vante qu'il est un brillant détective. Des vols en série se produisent dans le village. Lao Hei, le principal suspect d'un braquage de bijouterie en fuite, fait porter le chapeau au villageois Zhao Ergou et simule une montagne hantée à l'arrière pour dissimuler le butin enterré. Zhao Daqiang met sur pied une équipe de patrouille pour faire éclater la vérité, et son identité est dévoilée au grand jour par Lao Hei. Le complice de Lao Hei, Shou Hou, s'empare du butin en cachette, provoquant une lutte intestine parmi les bandits. Lao Hei enlève Zhao Ming pour faire chanter Zhao Daqiang. Zhao Daqiang utilise la persuasion psychologique pour coincer Lao Hei blessé, et coopère avec la police pour l'arrêter.
