My Cousin's Wedding Banquet, My Family Builds a Public Toilet
When Lin Zhixia returns to her village, she discovers that her uncle's family has occupied her family's side courtyard for thirty years, while their leaking awning lets rainwater pour into her old home. Determined to reclaim the property boundaries, she proposes converting the old house facing the street into a public toilet in exchange for a residential plot. She clashes with her grandmother, who favors her younger son's family, and her uncle's household. From village committee votes and marking property boundaries with stakes and chalk lines to blocking the entrance during the wedding banquet, the confrontations finally bring thirty years of old grievances into the open and settle the accounts once and for all.
