The landlord envies the booming business of her tenant, Lin Zhou's hotpot restaurant. She maliciously raises the rent to force him out, takes over his premises, and opens her own hotpot restaurant. To cut costs, the landlord and her son use substandard ingredients and even scheme to frame Lin Zhou's new restaurant. Despite facing repeated obstacles, Lin Zhou and his wife, Su Wan, remain committed to food safety. They insist on preparing their hotpot soup bases by hand every day and using only fresh ingredients. Gradually, their reputation spreads, and loyal customers find their way to the new restaurant, bringing business back to life.
