A modern female college student time-travels to ancient times, becoming Lin Chunhua, who is regarded as a fool by the whole village. To avoid being driven out of the village, she participates in the village chief evaluation and is successfully elected. Facing heavy taxes, she explores local products, developing industries such as pickled lemons, dried persimmons, brown sugar, snowflake salt, and grape wine, leading the villagers to shake off poverty and get rich, building a reservoir, a private school, and a scenic area, and ultimately receiving rewards and titles from the imperial court.
