White Veil Conceals Heaven's Secrets, I Guard the World's Fortune
In the Primordial Era, Bai He, the Goddess who commands the world's spiritual energy and lifelines, appears in the mortal realm once every sixty years. Legend has it that whoever gains her favor will gain the world. Ten years ago, the Qiao family was attacked by demons and stood on the brink of destruction. The family patriarch, Qiao Zheng, respectfully pleaded with Bai He to emerge from seclusion. She sealed the demons using her own power, concealed her eyes behind a white veil to obscure the secrets of heaven, and went into hiding under the identity of a Qiao family daughter. She made a pact to spend ten years refining the seal.
