College student Lin Xinrou is abducted and taken to Tazhai in the Golden Triangle, where she is forced to marry Li Quan, a man everyone believes to be an “idiot.” In reality, Li Quan is an undercover police officer who helps her escape. Lin Xinrou flees from place to place, surviving several close calls. When she learns that Li Quan may still be alive, she voluntarily returns to Tazhai as an informant, assisting the police in destroying the drug trafficking syndicate. In the end, she rescues Li Quan, gives birth to twins—a boy and a girl—and names them Pingping and An'an, finally reuniting their family.
