Zhao Sulan and her husband Zhou Wenshan used all their savings to buy a three-story villa. When her husband's liver cancer relapsed, requiring an urgent three million for surgery, Zhao Sulan decided to sell the house to save his life. However, their children, Zhou Man and Zhou Ye, blinded by greed, obstructed the sale at every turn, watching their father miss his chance at treatment and pass away. Heartbroken and disillusioned, Zhao Sulan secretly donated the jointly-owned property for free. The children resort to unscrupulously greedy means to fight over the inheritance, but after facing severe consequences, they come to their senses. In the end, the family reconciles, and Old Zhou's estate is turned into a rural education fund to spread goodwill.
