Jiang Jue, the ace demolition director of Huxiao Real Estate, was picked up from the ruins 24 years ago by his adoptive father Zheng Weishan and raised into the sharpest demolition blade in the city. With a 24-day deadline to clear the land, the last holdout — Sun's Noodle Shop at No. 17 Heguang Alley — refuses to sign despite 12 million in compensation. The moment he steps into the noodle shop, clues weld his own origins tightly to this demolition. His adoptive father is the arsonist who burned down his home, and the one waiting for him has waited 20 years for justice. A bowl of 8-yuan plain noodles stumps the city's most ruthless King of Demolition.
