Kirin Repays Kindness, The Divine Beast I Saved is Back to Settle Accounts
Moyen, the guardian Kirin of Cangwu Mountain, accidentally falls into hunter Ma Degui's snare, promising to exchange three scales for auspicious jade to gain freedom. Ma Degui and his wife grow increasingly greedy, forcibly taking the scales, imprisoning and selling the jade, and even abandoning it in a rocky ravine. Herbalist Shen Qinghe rescues Moyen and carries it back up the mountain. After recovering, Moyen takes no lives, instead making the greedy work to pay off their debts according to a ledger, and also subduing the Zhou family who covets the Kirin. In the end, it stays to build the road from Cangwu Mountain to Kaoshan Village, while Shen Qinghe manages the medicinal herb garden, where kindness and guardianship find their home.

Moyen, el Kirin guardián de la montaña Cangwu, cae por error en la trampa del cazador Ma Degui, prometiendo cambiar tres escamas por jade auspicioso a cambio de su libertad. El matrimonio de Ma Degui se vuelve cada vez más codicioso, arrebatándole las escamas, encerrándolo para vender el jade e incluso abandonándolo en un barranco de piedras. La recolectora de hierbas Shen Qinghe rescata a Moyen y lo carga de vuelta a la montaña. Tras recuperarse, Moyen no quita vidas, sino que hace que los codiciosos trabajen para saldar sus deudas según un libro de contabilidad, y también somete a la familia Zhou que codicia al Kirin. Al final, se queda para construir el camino desde la montaña Cangwu hasta la aldea Kaoshan, mientras Shen Qinghe administra el huerto medicinal, donde la bondad y la protección encuentran su hogar.
