La propriétaire d'origine était obsédée par le vaurien Shen Aotian, a été abandonnée en public le jour de son mariage et a épousé par dépit Zhou Ji, le fils adoptif sourd de la famille Shen. Après le mariage, elle a frappé et insulté son mari, allant jusqu'à menacer de se suicider pour le vaurien.
