Flower-Guarding Beast, She Just Wants to Get Off Work
When she wakes up, she has become a snake tasked with guarding flowers in the world of cultivation. She has only one mission: to wait for a young boy who has yet to be born. She waits through twenty winters and twenty cycles of blooming flowers, watching a child stumble through his first steps and eventually grow into a young swordsman. When he cannot speak, she keeps him company while he roasts fish. When he cannot memorize his sword techniques, she stays with him at the bottom of the cliff, helping him write them stroke by stroke. Year after year, the mountain flowers bloom, and she saves the finest one for someone who has yet to arrive. Eventually, he finally comes and stands before her, softly calling her 'Big Sister.'
