The Stolen Retirement House
Having exhausted half a lifetime of savings to buy her very own retirement home, she only wanted to live out her later years in peace. But the son she raised with deep affection racked up massive debts outside, and to cover the shortfall, he actually wove lies on both ends to stir up trouble. He deceived his mother, falsely claiming that his wife was unwilling to accept her living together; and he hoodwinked his wife, saying that her mother-in-law did not want to get along with her. This string of instigations created a rift between mother-in-law and daughter-in-law, while he hid behind the scenes, waiting for an opportunity to covet this retirement property. When layer upon layer of lies were pierced through, the elderly mother finally saw clearly that the one hurting her was not her daughter-in-law, but her own biological son. In a desperate situation, she gathered evidence and rose up to counterattack, vowing to take back her property and expose her son's true greedy and selfish face.
