As it turns out, a bowl of hot porridge in the wind and snow three years ago had already linked their fates together. Stepping onto the prairie, she faces the harassment of old subordinates, market raids, granary conspiracies, and slow poisoning, and must also confront Jing Yi, who regrets the marriage and comes thousands of miles to seize her position.
