At a little restaurant behind a hospital, Lin Yuan charges just 80 cents to let patients use his kitchen, with rice, flour, cooking oil, and seasonings free for the taking. His kindness, however, is repaid with trouble stirred up by Zhang Hao and betrayal from his longtime customers. Reborn on the very day the incident occurred, Lin Yuan refuses to tolerate any more mistreatment. He closes his shop and moves to another hospital. Zhang Hao tries to steal his customers by offering even lower prices, but food quality issues soon land him in trouble. Wang Guilan and the others then turn around and pressure Lin Yuan to take responsibility for the mess. Faced with repeated false accusations and schemes, he uses purchase records, audio recordings, and surveillance footage to prove his innocence. When Xu Jingqiu sincerely repays her debt, he slowly learns to trust again. His new restaurant flourishes, while his former customers regret their actions. Lin Yuan finally understands that kindness can be given, but boundaries must never be abandoned.
