A Faint Glow from the Kitchen Fire, Year After Year Toward the Sun
Fifty years ago, my grandfather stole my grandmother's ancestral recipes, abandoned his wife and daughter, and transformed himself into a legendary God of Cooking. My grandmother bore the stigma and died in sorrow. My granddaughter, Ling Churan, trained to become a top chef. At a competition, she exposed the descendants of the Zhong family for plagiarizing her family's dishes, only to be blacklisted by the entire industry and maliciously framed. She joins forces with other victimized chefs and presents complete evidence at a press conference, exposing the dark secrets of Gourmet Pavilion: stealing secret recipes, using poisonous ingredients, suppressing competitors, and manipulating food rankings. The fraudulent God of Cooking falls from his pedestal, and all his past crimes are brought to justice. Ling Churan reopens the Ling Family Restaurant, using her culinary skills to protect ordinary chefs who remain true to their principles.
