The Next-Door Young Woman And Constable Lu
Constable Lu Zheng once guarded the border, with a scar on his brow bone. Due to his frightening appearance, he repeatedly failed matchmaking attempts, only wishing for a lit lamp to await him when returning home. The next-door orphan Shen Nuo is gentle and timid, having secretly adored him for a long time, and always shyly dodges when they meet. One night, Lu Zheng got drunk and mistakenly entered her small courtyard, and the two spent a night together. Lu Zheng is responsible, immediately entrusting a matchmaker to propose marriage, and Shen Nuo tearfully consented.
