The Youth of the Little Tavern
While Gu Yan is playing guitar at a little tavern, Su Chang, whom he hasn't seen in three years, suddenly appears, bringing back memories. One night, Su Chang, drunk and heartbroken, stumbled into his life, and the two began an amusing and unexpected companionship. Starved of affection but straightforward by nature, Su Chang gradually falls for Gu Yan, who protects and cares for her. However, haunted by his past heartbreak, Gu Yan is afraid to accept her feelings. After he turns down Su Chang's confession, her parents take her abroad. Before leaving, she writes him a letter promising to wait three years and return to marry him as long as the tavern is still there. Gu Yan therefore decides to keep the tavern.
