The Legend of Ruyin
Min family daughter Ruyin marries into the Lin family, but encounters misfortunes during her pregnancy when her eldest brother-in-law dies in battle, and her husband Lin Xiping actually wants to forcefully marry his white moonlight as an equal wife. The selfishness and betrayal of the Lin family breaks Ruyin's heart, and she resolutely asks for a letter of divorce. While giving birth deep in the mountains, she is rescued by the dull and affectionate Lin Xi'an. Ruyin fakes her death to escape and changes her name to Zhao Ruyin, living in seclusion in the mountains with Lin Xi'an. Ultimately, the Lin family falls into ruin amidst greed, and Lin Xiping feels lifelong regret; whereas Ruyin and Lin Xi'an grow old together, living out self-fulfillment and completeness.
