The Rejected Mother Has Someone Who Cares
Zhou Guilan lost her husband early in life and worked hard selling breakfast to raise Zhao Lei, but was treated like a free nanny by her son and daughter-in-law. Her savings were drained, and she nearly lost her life hauling goods up the mountain during a heavy rainstorm. Her biological older brother, Liu Guodong, whom she had been separated from for fifty years and who is now an agricultural group chairman, recognized his sister while returning home to negotiate a business cooperation with Zhao Lei. Her brother's care made Zhou Guilan realize that maternal love does not have to be a blind sacrifice. Zhao Lei and his wife continued to make demands, and Liu Guodong's daughter Liu Qian, fearing the family property would be divided, colluded with Wang Li to forge a paternity test in an effort to drive Zhou Guilan away. The conspiracy was exposed right on the spot at the family recognition banquet.
