Ordinary young woman Xu Kemo accidentally travels to another world and becomes bound to a God of Cooking System. As soon as she wakes up, she must take responsibility for Li Kou, a two-year-old flying tiger cub who was cruelly mistreated by his original mother. With absolutely nothing in the house, she sells her clothes to buy ingredients and ventures into the mountains to gather wild seasonings. Using her secret-recipe braised meat, she sets up a food stall and takes on private cooking jobs, working hard to stockpile food and winter supplies while carefully nursing the cub back to health. Just as she faces rival vendors trying to steal her spot, harassment from the original owner's persistent pursuer, and the village's grain requisition, her husband Diego, who is away fighting on the front lines, unexpectedly discovers that she has applied for his death compensation. Misunderstanding her intentions and burning with anger, he sets off for home. The peaceful life she and the cub have built is about to be shattered.
