The Blind Female Mystic
Born blind, Qin Yaomei has always been able to hear the voices of the dead. Yet, regarded as an outcast by society, she endures endless suffering and can barely survive by relaying the final words of the deceased. One day, in a bustling marketplace, she stops the procession of the Imperial Brocade Guards and boldly declares that a dead person is hidden inside the sedan chair. When all three of the deceased's final messages come true, the usually cold and stern Xiao Muchen has no choice but to take her along to investigate cases. A bizarre mystery involving a corpse inside a sedan chair leads to a long-buried massacre of an entire family from twelve years ago, a forbidden wooden chest, and a secret scheme deeply entrenched in the imperial court. The spirits have only three sentences to speak, and with those few words, she must uncover the truth that rightfully belongs to her.
