Il y a sept ans, un accident a coûté à la famille Gu sa belle-fille et sa jeune petite-fille. Le jeune maître de la famille Gu est également tombé dans un coma prolongé à la suite de cet événement. Sept ans plus tard, Tuan Tuan, âgée de sept ans, descend de la montagne accompagnée de son maître, Jiang Xiao, pour retrouver sa famille. Un pendentif en jade dont elle possède la moitié et qu'elle garde auprès d'elle depuis des années révèle de manière inattendue le mystère de ses origines, longtemps resté enfoui.
