The Mute Crown Princess Consort
Song Yayue was born a chatterbox. In her childhood, her mother cast a talisman to turn her mute, and she could not speak again until she turned eighteen. On her wedding night, she caught her husband, the Heir of Rui Palace, meeting secretly with the Crown Princess, and by chance learned that the Crown Prince He Zhiyu was only pretending to be blind. Regaining her voice, she was taken in by the Crown Prince as an informant. Drawing on her talkative nature and the fact that no one guarded against her, she gathered evidence of treason. In court confrontations and quelling of rebellions, the little chatterbox who had been mute and the Crown Prince who feigned blindness and hid his true strength redeemed each other amid the whirlpool of power struggles, and finally stayed together for life.

Song Yayue nacque chiacchierona.
