Snow Falls Silently, Wedding Vows Have a Time
Luo Fan, a cautious and restrained university teacher, accidentally provokes Chen Xingjian, a cold-faced gold-medal lawyer, during a drunken night. Thinking it was just an absurd night, she never expected him to be her newly met blind-date match. Facing family pressure to marry and a three-million buyout condition, a desperate Luo Fan accepts Chen Xingjian's previous proposal. The two quickly register their marriage, starting a contract marriage where each gets what they want. She thinks he has a white moonlight in his heart, and he mistakenly thinks she is ready to pull away at any time. Thus, two people best at restraint set boundaries on one hand while constantly crossing them on the other; from probing each other to secret jealousy, from acting as a sham to the real deal.
