Single Mother's Wanwan Little Kitchen
Her husband left behind the words "going out to work" and didn't come back for three years. The debt was left to her, the restaurant was left to her, and even her two-and-a-half-year-old son wouldn't call her mom. The landlord is taking back the shop in five days, and she searched her whole body to find only eighty yuan. In the dark, Xiaoye suddenly pointed at a community group-buying flyer sliding in through the door crack. Relying on a single pot, she took her first order—five portions of braised pork belly—which was complained about for being too fatty. Yet, relying on this same pot, she warmed the hearts of solitary elderly people and softened the mouths of the rent-collecting landlords. Belief by belief, the child trusted silently; behind the coincidences was a path paved by her missing husband for three years. The night the rent for the month was finally gathered, the headlights at the end of the alley lit up.
