The Crown Princess Goes All-Out with Her Fists Against the Eastern Palace
Jiang Nianhe was born with extraordinary strength and an enormous appetite. Her own father sold her for 300 taels of silver to the imperial prison, where she was to bring good fortune through marriage to Crown Prince Xiao Jingheng, a condemned prisoner accused of treason. On their wedding night, she tore down the prison gates with her bare hands and carried the poisoned Crown Prince out through a sea of enemies. From then on, she smashed every door in her path, demolished ancestral graves, wrecked the Golden Throne Hall, and guarded the South City Gate. As she investigated cases and quelled rebellions, she uncovered a twenty-year-old injustice involving the Yun family and the shocking truth that she was not a Jiang by birth. When the Emperor asked whether she wanted to become Empress, she had only one question: Would she be fed if she took charge of the empire? Absolutely! She may eat a lot, but she can protect the entire realm.
