The Taoist Priestess Turns Out to Be the Marquis's True Daughter
The Marquis's household finally finds Shen Qihe, their true daughter who disappeared many years ago, but she has no taste for the restrictions of a noblewoman's life. Just as the Crown Prince falls into danger, an imperial decree arrives, and a sudden crisis threatens the entire Marquis's household. To protect her family and her younger legitimate sister, Shen Qihe refuses to yield any longer. Relying on her courage and resourcefulness, she challenges imperial authority. She has no faith in hypocrisy and empty pleasantries, believing only in striking first to gain the upper hand.
