Incited by Lin Xue's family, the villagers collectively report Lin Feng and force him to give up managing the orchards. After Lin Xue's family takes over, their eagerness for quick results leads them to misuse pesticides, devastating the village's orchards with chemical damage. To cover up their mistakes, they attempt to destroy Lin Feng's experimental plot and frame him, but surveillance footage exposes the truth.
