Mother-in-Law Makes a Move, Daughter-in-Law Is Not Wronged
At the group's anniversary banquet, Lin Wan, who is pregnant with twins, is maliciously schemed against by Zhao Qian to be used as a Gu wife experience quota for a public lucky draw. Her husband, Gu Chuan, asks her to cooperate and compromise, completely breaking her sincere heart. Her traditionally dainty mother-in-law, Sun Yulan, steps forward to protect Lin Wan, investigating Zhao Qian's many issues of overstepping boundaries and accounting errors. Past entanglements are uncovered one by one, and Gu Chuan finally wakes up; the cracks in marriage are not caused by others fighting for it, but by his own years of bottomless connivance.
