The Disturbance Triggered by the Shared Area
After moving in, new resident Zhou Yan discovers that neighbor Wang Guifen has long occupied the hallway's shared area, ranging from shoe cabinets and freezers to privately installed iron racks with locks, step by step crowding out the fire escape. Her repeated communications are instead met with accusations of stirring up trouble, and the property management also delays handling it. Until hallway debris triggers a fire, trapping Wang Guifen's family and obstructing their escape, Zhou Yan promptly calls the police and guides residents to safety. Ultimately, the accident awakens everyone, and the residential community establishes new rules for public area management, truly returning the clear hallway to all owners.
