A Mortal Crossing Tribulation, The Female Sword Immortal, She Chased Over
Liu Ping'an served Lin Moxin, a Kunlun immortal who fell into the mortal world, for five years. Yet when the immortal repaid her favor, he only asked her to save a dying old dog. After settling accounts, their immortal ties were severed, and he only wanted to find a virtuous wife to live in peace. Little did he expect that the matchmaker really sent Su Jiuer, a talented woman proficient in zither, chess, calligraphy, and painting, who asked for not a single penny of betrothal gifts, yet always made him feel something was amiss. The old yellow dog in the yard wagged its tail at her, but she claimed it was just fate; strange occurrences frequently happened in the village, and her shadow seemed to sprout tails under the moonlight. Liu Ping'an did not know that behind this seemingly ordinary marriage lay a millennium-old unfulfilled debt scattered by heavenly thunder, and why exactly that girl had come.
