Exile of the Immortal: Sword Rises in the Mortal World
Su Qingwu, an outer sect maiden of the Qingwu Sect, is frail and bullied. When on the verge of death in a martial arts tournament, she awakens the Moonflower Sword Technique, only to realize she is the reincarnation of the Moon Goddess Xihe. A sect murder makes her a scapegoat, leading to her expulsion and a hunted proclamation by the celestial emissary Yaoji. Ling Xuanchen, the pride in white who protects her, turns out to be the Guardian of Ruins fated to kill her, while the kind Elder Zhu is actually the chess-controlling fierce god Zhulong. As the Divine Ruins are about to open and calamity approaches, she refuses to accept her divine status, wielding her sword to slay gods with a mortal body. With gods using mortals as chess pieces, she insists on making the final move: My fate is up to me, not the heavens.
