The Old Lady Travels to Ancient Times, Gets Rich, Turns the Tables, and Disciplines Four Rebellious Sons - Season 2
Chen Ru and her elderly husband travel through time to a fictional ancient dynasty, where they find themselves saddled with four unfilial sons and a whole bunch of ungrateful grandchildren. In her previous life, the original owner devoted herself entirely to her children. She arranged marriages and raised families for all four sons, helped one son become a scholar, and looked after her grandchildren. Yet, when she grew old, everyone treated her as a burden, believing that an old person who refused to die was nothing but a nuisance and blaming her for bringing misfortune upon the family. Eventually, they locked her away in a dilapidated house. After traveling through time and sorting out her new circumstances, the newly arrived Granny Chen immediately decides to let go of her responsibilities. She will no longer lift a finger for any of them. Whoever lives or dies is none of her concern. From now on, she will simply live well for herself!
